I was contacted by the agency, DDB Madrid, to art direct and illustrate an animation video telling the history of Anís del Mono, such a folklore classic in Spain.
The agency had just written a text for the voice over, nothing else. I picked it up from there and created the whole visual narration, coming up with all the images that will go with the texts.
I ended up setting up a team of two animators and a sound engineer, and together we did the whole project from scratch, complete with an original score composed and performed by myself.
